Colleen O’Connor of Long Neck was crowned CHEER’s Volunteer Queen of the Year at a banquet at the CHEER Community Center. The dinner was compliments of a grant from Meals On Wheels Delaware. During the past year, CHEER’s 750 volunteers have given over 40,000 hours of service that is valued at over $800,000. Thank you to all the volunteers for your service to Sussex County’s senior citizens.
