The Warren L. and Charles C. Allen, Jr. CHEER Community Center is a modern, state-of-the-art 24,000 square foot multi-purpose facility with ample parking, centrally located at 20520 Sand Hill Road in Georgetown, Delaware. A large Banquet Room is available for seated dining up to 325 people at round tables (72-inch) and classroom style rectangle tables up to 300 people; concert style, up to 325 seated, and a dance floor is available. The banquet room can be divided into three smaller spaces to handle a more intimate or business event.
Weddings, business meetings, social functions, family gatherings, etc., almost any type of event can be handled with ease. Internet access and audio visual equipment are available for all functions. A state-of-the-art kitchen can handle any food preparation and CHEER Catering is required for all functions..
The Community Center is also home to the Georgetown Activity Center and the Sand Hill Adult Day Program.
