CHEER offers safe, dependable, compassionate 24/7 care at rates that are less expensive than assisted living or nursing homes. Our Personal Assistance Services are administered by qualified Direct Care Workers, ensuring you or your loved one will receive the best possible care.
24/7 care may include hands-on personal care such as help with activities of daily living like dressing, bathing, feeding, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship.
24/7 care can be long-term or temporary, depending on the needs of the individual. For many seniors, 24/7 care may be the only option to placement in a nursing home. For others, 24/7 care is an option after surgery. In both cases, CHEER is proud to offer the finest Personal Assistance services to our customers.
There are other advantages to 24/7 care. Often times, individuals may feel more comfortable and live a more meaningful life remaining in their own home rather than placement in an unfamiliar facility. Additionally, customers often show improved physical and emotional effects because of increased health monitoring, better meals, personal care, and daily companionship that comes with 24/7 care.
In order to ensure our customers receive the best possible care for safety and aging in place, the Personal Assistance Service (PASA) Director or the designee, will develop a service plan with the customer and/or their family member. This plan will be revisited every 90 days to ensure our seniors needs are being fulfilled.
Finally, CHEER offers more than 24/7 care. Annually, we deliver over almost 800 meals daily to homebound seniors as part of the Meals on Wheels program. We provide transportation to thousands of seniors every year. Our CHEER Centers are a second home to many seniors and provide an opportunity to spend some quality time outside of the home.
